We are excited to announce we will be having an "Open within the Open" this year at CFR! Here's how it will work:
-Sign up for the Open: this is your ticket to get onto a team and participate. If you're already signed up, you are good to go
-Tomorrow, the team captains (Steph, Joe, Stacey and Caitie) will sit down and fight over you guys to be on their team
-Once the teams are selected tomorrow, your coaches will be working with you and helping you specifically with the Open workouts and the movements involved. Team meetings, extra skill work, t shirts, and much more will be involved in this in-house competition
-After each week, we will tally up the scores and create a leader board for the 4 teams. Prizes and bragging rights will be on the line for team performance
The Open is great because you get to compete against CrossFitter's from around the world. What we are trying to create with this challenge is a fun but competitive in-house event where our members are pushing each other. Plus, your team captain will have your best interests at heart and will work with you to get better.
As the Open approaches, more details will be announced about the specifics of this competition.
