The No Bread Challenge is almost here and it's time to announce what foods are cool and what foods are no-no's.  More details will be revealed as the week unfolds, but for now get your shopping lists together for October!

 

Cannot Eat

Bread (white, wheat, whole grain and any other type)

Tortillas (corn, flour, chips)

Pitas (see Bread)

Naan

White Rice

Cake (cupcakes, twinkies, cookies, etc)

White Pasta

 

Okay to Eat

Brown Rice

Oats (whole oats, not the processed oatmeal from Vons!)

Quinoa (more on this later)

Brown Rice Pasta (Whole Foods/Trader Joes)

Potatoes (preferably sweet aka yams)

Vegetables

Nuts

Seeds

Beans

Legumes

Meat

Eggs

Fruit

 

 

Try to Avoid

Milk

Cheese

Soy

Coffee

Alcohol
